More Exclusive 'Twilight' DVD Bonus Footage!

SANTA MONICA, California — If you're like most Twilighters, you probably already know your plans for "DVD day," with midnight release parties occurring all over the country on the night of March 20/21. If you're among the lucky few, you might even be wearing butt-less onesies with Kellan Lutz and Edi Gathegi.

For those who want to get an early jump on the revelry, MTV has another exclusive bonus featurette for you — a full week before you'll be able to see it on the "Twilight" DVD.

As a follow-up to the unveiling of the Comic-Con memories clip, we present a behind-the-scenes featurette on the making of the hospital scene at the end of the film.

To help promote the DVD, we've spoken to many of the franchise's stars over the past few days — and they're every bit as excited as the Twilighters to dig into two discs celebrating Stephenie Meyer-mania.

"We did an audio commentary and I can't wait for everyone to hear it," Kristen Stewart beamed, talking about a giggle-heavy track featuring herself, director Catherine Hardwicke and Robert Pattinson. "There are outtakes. There wasn't a day that went by that we didn't have camera crews on set. They have hours of footage to put together for the eager audience."

"There are deleted scenes too, and I'm excited to see which ones they decided to use," Gathegi explained. "There was a couple that I was in, so maybe there's one of those in there. That's what I'm going to go to first and foremost: looking for my deleted scenes."

"I'm really looking forward to watching the audition process," Lutz explained of a DVD feature that will show many of the actors' first attempts at portraying the "Twilight" characters. "My audition process was really quite crazy in itself, [because] there was somebody already cast to play Emmett and he fell through ... I'm really quite anxious to see the auditions of the other characters — talking to Ashley [Greene], they auditioned her, like, five times to get the role of Alice. She first auditioned for Bella, and then they called her back a couple of weeks later for Alice — it's just really interesting to see that process, because all of them are so different."

In addition to all that, the DVD will feature music videos from Muse, Paramore and Linkin Park, a seven-part (!) documentary about the creation of "Twilight" and much more. It's a great opportunity for the fans to revisit the phenomenon — and some of the actors to get a refresher course before they head into shooting "New Moon."

"Last year is very fuzzy for me. That whole 'Twilight' process was very overwhelming at times," Nikki Reed giggled. "I don't really remember that much of what we shot; I just know that I was in Portland for five months, even though I'm in only [a few] scenes in the movie. So, I'm sure that there is a lot on the DVD that wasn't in the final cut — and I'm just as anxious as everyone else to see it."

Check out everything we've got on "Twilight."
