Miley Cyrus Is 'Stoked' About Her Golden Globe Best Song Nomination

This has been a big week for Miley Cyrus. On Wednesday, the 16-year-old got her learner's permit to drive. Then on Thursday morning (December 11), she woke up to the news that she received a Golden Globe nomination for the song "I Thought I Lost You," her duet with John Travolta for "Bolt" that has already received Oscar buzz.

"I'm so stoked! I never expected to get nominated," Cyrus, who co-wrote the song with Jeffrey Steele, told People.com. "I can't believe I'm on the same list as Clint Eastwood, Beyoncй, Bruce Springsteen and everyone else."

"Bolt" is also nominated for Best Animated Feature, running against "WALL-E" and "Kung Fu Panda." (See the complete Golden Globe nomination list in the Movies blog.)

The "Hannah Montana" star said she woke up Thursday morning at 5:30 a.m. to an onslaught of text messages congratulating her on the nomination. She later celebrated on the set of her hit Disney series as the show's producers gave the young star flowers.

What will she wear? "I think it's going to be long," she said of her outfit.

And rather than declaring that alleged boyfriend Justin Gaston will be by her side for the trek down the red carpet, Cyrus suggested other escorts for the evening: "I would love to have two dates," she said. "I would love John Travolta to be my date, because this is our movie, and Jeffrey [Steele], because he wrote the song with me and he's such a good friend."

Check out everything we've got on "Bolt."
